I should have been clearer with that comment about the Forum being "better." What I meant was, it isn't as bad as it was a few days ago, but it is still alooooong way from being the same great, speedy, fun Forum it was before all the "upgrades." I guess my comment was along the lines of, "Hmmmm, this turd doesn't smell nearly as bad as it did last week."

Ah...yes, the old "dead rat in the wall" syndrome... After a few weeks it stops stinking so much. At least someone "took out" that news ticker, but I'll bet it was a difficult shot, seeing as how it jumped around so much.

As for the reputation feature, go check in your user cp at the bottom of the screen. From there you can see your point count for reputation. You should see the most recent one where someone liked what you had to say. I'll give you a point for your last post so you can see it in action.

There, I added to your Reputation. It looks like there is also the option to reduce someone's reputation because a box pops up and asks you to check a box for whether you agree or disagree with the poster and it has a place for you to comment. I have no idea who sees those comments. I stated that you had an inciteful analysis of the present state of the Forum, given the new "upgrades."

Oh, I know what it does... I just can't see a real need for it. If you're a butthead, you'll know it from the replies you get. If you're not, who cares? And let's face it, how often did any of us actually use the "rate this thread" function in the previous incarnation of the forums? If we didn't bother to rate entire threads all that often, how can anyone expect we'll rate each other's individual posts? Especially given the noted slowness of the new forums.

No Spec Ops? Jess, the Japanese didn't have any to start with, so I assume this means you won't be using Rangers, right?

8k points might be a little too high. I've found that when the points are that high the Japanese player often can't use them all before his # of units maxes out. If that turns out to be the case I'll let you know and we can reduce it and restart.

Let's also set ammo to Limited.
