with UV, I waited 3 months too. I got the game when patch 1.3 was aviable or so....it wasnt that bad becasue there were some interesting issues with 1.0


so sometimes its smart to wait a little bit. But with witp I couldnt resist either. [:'(]

Seriously, I have a personal rule of never buying a game before the dust has settled ~ usually a month or two after release. I've been burned too many times in the past by games which looked great when previewed, or the demo seemed good, but then the full product was bug ridden or just plain crap. I like to read LOTS of reviews; published and user reviews on forums too.

I kind of agree with the "Never buy V1.0" of anything. I make an exception for Matrix products.
Also, after reading AARs for about 6 months, I figured no major bugs remained.

And, I can't (couldn't) wait. Been waiting for this >10 years[:)]
