Great news! Of course that means in a few weeks we'll be back to the ubiquitous flurry of 'Where is the new Patch?' posts. [:D]

13) Aircraft slots 8, 14 and 24 and 75 have been changed to carrier capable for the Japanese.

I wonder if this should be 76 and not 75. In V1.3 Scenario 15 and 16, aircraft 75 is the Ki-54 Hickory. Slot 76 is empty (as are 14 and 24).

So the Ki-54 is carrier capable now? That should prove interesting....

What about the set all buttons in carrier groups? This has been broken since day one, is it still on the list?

Hello...

You are correct. Should be slot 76. Here is the code:

//----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
bool CarrierAircraft(short int tac)
{
if(tac<25)
return(true);

if(tac>75 && tac<102)
return(true);

return(false);
}

My "C" is better than my English.

Thanks for the update[:)], I didn't expect a patch until after the first of the year.

Can you confirm the following are bugs and not yet fixed.

1. NightFighter combat issue.
2. Ohka's availability still not working.
3. Japanese Aircraft production (computer overrides player changes if you try to build older aircraft types, recking aircraft production) This is the same issue you fixed in PacWar.

Hello...

I prefer BAL (mainframe assembler) or on the PC, Macro-assembler to "C" or COBOL, but I don't pick the language.

I've not done "C" for over a decade but I think I see a small omission in the function above. I've marked it it red.

Hello...

Yes, I can confirm they are not fixed. Number one and two and about a dozen others are on short bug list. Number three has yet to make my list. Never of heard of it, before.

Don't tell anyone, but the short list for features (they are free you know, I don't get paid to add them) are filters for the leader exhange screens with numerical values for characteristcs and some way to have limited aircraft upgrade/down grade choices for air groups (as I added in PacWar).

Free? Holy crap, Mike. And here I am firing off all these feature requests... [X(]You must like beer? You take beer coupons redeemable in the States? I'll pay ya in beer for The Task Group formation and ability to group ships of same type into divisions for ease of handling. Might be a lot of beer coupons!!! One of my close friends is an import beer rep and he has lots of taps in my tavern. I suppose I could misuse some "beer support" for "WITP support".[:D]

Mike,
Thanks for the update AND the early Christmas present! I would like some clarification though, will 1.4 require a restart or is a restart strongly suggested? Please advise, as this will affect many of us. Thanks,

Rick

You need more Allied Carrier planes?

So slots 1-24 and 76-101 and 244-250 are carrier capable.
