Two MSWs got heavy damaged this turn, but how they were damaged is not shown in the reports [:(][X(]

ABDA Command proudly presented the results of the night bombardments of Dadjangs - only secondary screening units got attacked by Japanese A/C ( 1 damaged MSW, 2 sunk MSW ).

Once again one of my small but very effective ASW hunter groups destroyed a Japanese sub ( I think 8 little yellow subs have been sunk so far

)

In the followup of the Dadjangs raids the small rest of a MSW flottilia got caught by the baby KB - one sunk and one deadly damaged ; and my B-17 hit one of Kevins patrol boats.

KB is still missing !!! a very dangerous situation - I am sure he is up to something !

HI Steven,

just looked at the losses - it is 9 lost Japanese subs and not really much more ( just a PC, 2 APDs and an AK )
=> so Kevin has made 1000+ score with all my destroyed ships and I have still not reached the first hundred !!!!!

This turn I tried to sneak some PTs in his landing operations, but only one PT followed my orders - 6 others stayed home ( they were set on surface combat instead of PT !! ) - later on the PTs got strafed in the port by some fighters [:(]

A lone Japanese ML was found near Ambonia - a small TF will investigate what he is doing around here.

One of my retreating screening TF ended the turn in the same hex as baby KB, a surface combat TF ( at least 10 ships, 4 CAs ) and a heavy escorted transport TF - only baby KB attacked - luckily no losses here!!

bad day for my subs - many attack runs, no success and several subs damaged [:(]
Luckily my small TF escaped baby KB and is now moving to a more secure area.
A fast TF will investigate that lone ML ( I have not seen any escorting units ) soon.

PH is now very low on supplies, transport TFs are two to 4 days away !!

Bad day for my Air Forces but a good day for my ships !!
One of the large supply convoys for PH ( now at red supply status!! ) run over a Japanese sub and sunk it - hehehe ( No 10 !!)
One of my subs surprised a damaged AP with two torpedoes and the AP sunk later !!

And once again my valiant PT forces surprised an enemy TF!! No transports - which are the main targets for me at the moment - but several PCs. One of my PTs for two of Kevins PCs [:)]

In the air I am losing big time at the moment - the Zero is too powerful, and it seems that Kevin is using them everywhere to protect his forces.

A turn with lots of subs trying to attack on both sides - but without any luck, no ships sunk, and 1 Allied and one Japanese sub sunk.
Amboina was mined by a lone ML - now my MSWs are busy. I have to find and punish this bugger !!

Less than 1000 supply at PH - the Transpo TFs should hurry !!!

KB sighted !! where they want to go ??? Either as support the Southern Philippines attacks, Amboina or maybe Tarakan. This is not good. I need better recce, because I cannot defend at all the both - Tarakan and Amboina - I do not have ebough sea and air units in the Dutch waters. For the Philippines, they are just a stopper to delay the imperial forces as long as possible.

Next turn the first of four large transport TFs will dock at PH, from then on I should start to get at least one 10 ship convoy worth of supplies once a week to PH.

My subs made several attack runs - but each of them failed. one sub shot 4 torpedoes and they all missed. The captain needs new glasses or a bottle of whisky.

The Japanese made several bombardements this turn - one with a real impact: 800+ ground losses.

Only good things this turn: one more Japanese sub heavily damaged and a B-17 hit a CA with a bomb.

It become really quiet after the first few very bloody days of the war ( two CVs sunk [X(][X(][:(] - both mine ). So here is the total of lost ships from both sides of the war.

It is very interesting that both sides have lost nearly zero of their transport fleet

The worst thing was the loss of his 2 CV's but they will come back. This is only Swift's 2nd PBEM tho so give him time [:)]

Sure, his carriers will be back, but that's going to take a while. If his opponent's on the ball, he can do a lot of damage, and Swift has to decide if he's going to play possum or come out for another fight and risk losing even more carriers.

No , not really after Kevin is reading this. All I can say that I try to keep them away from harm at the moment. Biggest problem is that he has split up the KB and so I do not know where I can find some Japanese CVs.
They were too quiet since the big attacks near PH.

I don´t think so.
Besides the CVs I did not loose many ships ( but many are damaged ).

A real problem would be some major transport TF hunting actions on Kevins site. But at the moment I go with them unpunished and his subs are dead meat ( what a difference to the game with Steven ).
So I can move lots of things around. I have even some transports operating in the Philippines [:)]

Yes, it is my second WITP PBEM - the one with Steven I started around one week after I got it ( and I did not even play more than 10 turns against the AI before [X(] I am a sucker for punishment, but I am also a quick learner )

I will try to build up some hot spots, so he can run his head against a wall at certain bases ( and here it is great that no interference has occured against my shipping lines - but now I am sure that Kevin will start to look for them and cause some troubles [8|] - and so he will maybe get distracted of other things, hehehehe )
