Map Colors

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

#1 would be my preferred choice... although I wouldn't mind if it were washed out a touch more.

Spain and Austria ceased to be cousins when the Bourbons ascended the Spanish throne after the War of Spanish Succession which ended in 1711
Ah, but believe it or not, the Spanish Bourbons (Borbons) were also descended from the Hapsburgs![:'(]

I say somewhere between 1 and 2 would look good.

I like #2 the most, but will like to see some protectorates (better if you put them together).

Did you try changing these? I think these are the entries that determine the shading color. (May have to change in each scenarios' player2.txt file...)

These don't control the mini-map shade colors...these are hard-coded. The shading of the NATO chits are also part of the .pcx file for those, and won't change with these entries. But I believe the entries you mention should control shading on the map.

Not sure what they do. I changed them in 1792 scenary (FRA 0,0,255, GB 255,0,0 and RUS 0,255,0) and can't see anything changed.

I also noticed in euprov2.txt there are also red green and blue fields.

I am totally confused as i am good at programing but am completely ignorant about graphics, textures and such stuff.
