Andrew-

I can't remember which one it was, but one of the Australian or New Zealand Base Forces is 100% prepped for a Russian base. I want to say it was 102nd Base force, but I can't remember. Was busy last night {I get to play at work when nobody calls for an ambulance} and forgot to write it down {someone had very poor timing in calling 911}.

Also, I downloaded the scenario file after you announced updated version 2.01. The scenario file still says 2.0 when in the games' scenario list.

I am using scenario 157.

That should be fixed already, as I corrected a bunch of these for 2.02. Please let me know if the unit you looked at isn't fixed in that update.

Oops. I had a bug in my scenario generator script. That is fixed now as well (it was just the title that was wrong - the scenario files were the updated ones).

Thanks,
Andrew

This is from 2.02 senario 160

1. LCI should have a description of Landing Craft Infantry not Landing Ship Infantry ( cosmetic )

2. see picture is that right - it is a lot of ASW weapons - beware Elf [:D]
and has the bug with landing craft type support vessels been resloved?

Image

3. LCI(R) are wrong also. same thing.

4. LCI(G) also.

5. LSC(L) also.

No, it hasn't. They're still useless.

Maybe the fact that the program calls ALL rockets, no matter what platform they're mounted "ASW weapons" is some sort of hint as to why they're not working...

That is a code issue. Nothing I can do about that.

4. LCI(G) also.

5. LSC(L) also.

What is the problem exactly?

Andrew

Edit: OK now I see it, "ASW weapon". That is a code issue as well. They are "SS Rockets" in the scenario database.

I particularly like the depth. 5000 feet. [X(] Try diving below one of those! [:D]

The problem is that rockets don't work, and therefore the armed landing craft can't do their jobs. Neither can the AA rocket mounts on late-war Japanese capital ships, by the way...

OK, do they do anything? AFAIR, they don't even work. Maybe a few slots could be freed up if they were taken out.

Yeah. I an aware of that. I just missed the "ASW weapon" text in the screenshot.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about the rockets.

What is the problem? How about 480 ASW rockets with a depth of 5000 feet.

Please see my previous post.

Very odd, but good news that it is working now.

Andrew
the problem is not related to CHS or any other mod it is just a bug that creeps in on rare occasions

Andrew

our posts and edits seem to have crossed paths.

Do you know what the SS stands for in SS Rocket?

SS = Surface to Surface Rocket (maybe)

BTW did any of those late war rockets on Japanese ships ever hit anything?

That is my guess as well.

maybe recode these things as SP guns with a large amount of damage and a range of 5 and maybe 5 shots total
