I guess by this point your sheer production power must make you pretty much unstoppable.

You must be getting fairly close to to the needed number of victory points to win the scenario. Where do you stand on that front?

 Yea, I feel like I'm at the helm of a large unstoppable juggernaut.
Right now it looks like I'm about 7 victory points away. I'm so close I can taste it.[:D]

I suppose an interesting variant on this scenario would be define each regimes cities as a unique people and not allow conquerors to produce anything but supplies/PP from them and even then only at a fraction of total production.

Tweak the starting production levels up a bit to compensate, but then no one is going to be able to run away borg-like and engulf the map in no time. You'd be forced to defend a larger area with the same amount of production, which could get tricky. I imagine even if you'd conquered as much as you have now, it would be quite a bit tougher if most of your supplies and all your reinforcements had to be shipped to the Russian front from Spain.

It would probably take a lot longer to play, though.

Turn 69
Starting in the North and working my way down.
-Army Group North looks accross the River the Russian Army just waiting for the command to attack once the Bombers and the Artys have finished the job of softening up the Communist.
{The cities and ports circled in red are all VP objectives. Once I capture them all plus Rommel captures the golf oil supply base, I will have Victory.}
-Army Group Center will go after Kiev due East of there current position, marked as objective 1.
-The 1st MA has 3 objectives{2.Bucharest 3.Sofia 4.Instanbul} They will likely have the toughest time.
-Army Group South will have 2 objectives to capture.{5.Tirane 6.Athens.}

That would certainly increase the chalenge here quiet a bit.
This scenario was not designed for single player against AI, but if you made a single player scenario with your idea incorperated into it. I think It would be a lot of fun.

Meanwhile in the center, Spanish troops are breaking through Russian lines and pushing towards Kiev...
-1st MA is pounding there way through Balkins towards there objectives, and Army Group South is finally catching up along the coast.

TURN 70
Spanish forces push back the enemy on all fronts except the Northern Russian pocket.
Rommel captured the supply depot in Turkey and Army Group South grabs another VP city.
This will likely be enough for Victory at the end of this turn...
