yep, most likely 32k or 64k (which is 65,xxx in human numbers) unless someone got stingy and kept it at 256 or 1024

After the next couple of impulses, the turn ended. So this is the situation at the start of the first impulse of M/A 1942.
US Congress decided to declare war in Germany and Italy to. Brazil and Panama decided to enter the war too. And to make it a total war, Germany and Italy declared war on China.
In Northern China, the stalemate continues...

In Borneo, Japanese troops are liberating several nations from British occupation and at Bataan and Corregidor the US last stand in the Philippines has been crushed.

The stalemate in the Western Med continues. But the Allied strength is growing. Only bad weather did prevent an invasion of Sardinia...

In Western Europe, things are not as quiet as it looks. Bomber Command keeps hitting German factories and oil reserves. This turn 4 Production points and 1 oil point was lost...

A shock for Heeresgruppe Süd. Guderian was inspecting troops in the frontlines when suddenly the Soviets attacked the positions. He was badly wounded and is currently recovering in a hospital at Munich. His command however, was not as lucky. Even with large numbers of aircraft supporting in snow, the Panzer were destroyed in an all out attack (offensive chit used by the Soviets) led by Zhukov...

RE: Netplay Global War AAR
Interesting use of a Soviet O-chit. It doesn't get 15 BP worth of stuff, but now the Germans are missing Guderian for the rest of '42, which might a difference. On the other hand, the Russians won't be able to use the O-chit later.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
RE: Netplay Global War AAR
It did get 17 BP, due to the fact that the MECH and the disorganised Italian FTR were present in the hex too. But it was truly interesting to see it's effects in this attack in snow.

RE: Netplay Global War AAR
A stalemate has occurred for this turn (M/A 1942). Not a lot did happen, due to bad weather continuing. After storms, there came blizzards in the Arctic and Northern Temperate and snow in the Med. Storms and rain were raging in the Far East. The Axis 3rd. impulse this turn is impulse number 11. The weather has changed to rain in the Arctic and the North Temperate zone. No "Panzerwetter" at all, I'm afraid. And Germany needed at least one good weather turn in the North Temperate (and the chance of getting that was 50% for this impulse...)
A lot of attemps to fight naval combats were taken in the Pacific and SUB's sailed into the Atlantic, but apart from some convoy points losses and the loss of a US CVP, not a lot has happened.
In the Med, US and British TRS loaded with troops sailed into the Western Med. The Italian fleet sorties, but didn't get lucky with the search rolls. All Italian BB's are currently in the repair pool. The Italian fleet now consists of 2 heavy cruisers...
As said, it's a stalemate, so no pictures...
On Netplay, we have had a lot of problems with naval interceptions and are still experiencing problems with Port Attacks. It looks like that one bug gets fixed and another one pops up due to that fix. It's really slow going at the moment (and sometimes a little frustrating also). The life of a beta tester isn't always fun and games, I'm afraid...

Of course, the turn ended without giving the Euroaxis one fine weather impulse. Here's the destroyed pool for M/A 1942

So, we are now at the start of the M/J 1942 turn. The weather is fine and the Allies won the initiative. Here is the UK and the Atlantic Wall:

In the Med, the Allies succeeded in invading Sardinia, however, they didn't conquer the Island. And the Hamburg Militiamen are still sunning at the beaches in Algiers...
