We still have a good game but I admit my hill to climb is getting higher.

I can help you with your spirits. First go get the song Bombon Asesino. From Los Palmeras

Then put yourself in the room with a woman of your selection and play the song. The songs effects on women is
Well Documented

Sorry Ike, but I'll stick with Samaba and the way those Brazilians move to it.

Thanks Ike.  I noticed in the video two ladies dancing together.  Are you trying to tell us something?[:D]

By the way, we needed a recon of Truk to develop a picture of all IJA forward deployed units.

6-2-43: Today a massive 400 plane air raid and combined arms deliberate assault at Lae reduced the fort one level.  I have droped 100000 points worth of supply/bombs into lea and finchaven.  The KB has returned to a support position 10 hexes northeast of nazib.  16 plane unescorted b25 strike failed to penatrate 150 plane CAP. IJA casualties listed over 1000 today at Lea.

I think your position is quite good. Early June and you are at Lea. you get more and more great fighters, B-25's, and enough airstrips to use them effectively. If you can get regular supply convoys to Lea once you take it, your bombers will dominate the Western part of the map. Just do not let IKE bait you into going to far, too fast.

I have been watching this game with much interst, as it seems IKE is taking the same approach in ours, but his 10 hex KB stike backfired on him.

And this.  It is not very often I see this many planes used on one hex.  We call this the kitchen sink in Alabama. From an Allied point of view either Ike has made some mistakes concerning the defense of Lae or PNG cannot be defended. I will talk about my view of this issue at the end of our game for our new gamers. I am not sure I could do a better job as the IJA. Ikesan really has my complete attention.

Ike is correct. Many times in this game the allies have counted the eggs before they hatch with disasterous results.

Majority of 2nd marine division is ashore at Tulagi.  Medium casualties by minefields to the USN. KB still covers lae from a distance but did not  commit this turn.  Cat and mouse.  Ike wants to shoot down tired F4Us.
