Bigger Than a ammobox, smaller than a Brummbar.
Maybe only another week for this.

The manual is at the printer, they are doing their thing, once we get it back the game will be released. In the meantime we are working like madmen to pack as much additional cool stuff in as we can. Yes, there will be a bit of additional PDF documentation thanks to this last minute rush of work.

Hahah I love the impatient, I bet publishers love them also. They can't wait to get whatever it is that they want and then when they get it 90% of them feel the disappointment of the hype and the rushed out game. hahahaha It's going to be buggy, it's going to need patches. I don't see the point of getting all excited and impatient over what you've known for YEARS now. It's just another game for the wash as I look at them these days. I'll still wait 6 months for at least two patches, maybe three. It's not like it's going anywhere or just disappear into thin air. ;)
WE/I WANT 1:1 or something even 1:2 death animations in the KOIOS PANZER COMMAND SERIES don't forget Erik! ;) and Floating Paratroopers We grew up with Minor, Marginal and Decisive victories why rock the boat with Marginal, Decisive and Legendary?

The people who complain about delays in the release of a game are the same ones that will WHINE THE LOUDEST, when/if the game's a flightless bird on launch. Never fails.

last word toooo[:-]
I feel that if I am one of those lucky few to get the first release, supposedly at a discount as a former owner, then I have no right to bitch if the company gives me a lemon, as long as they make some semblance of effort to correct. re: M2TW and Kindoms, which when the user community had them where made into some nice games thanks to sega opening hte game to modders. I will not list he other games that are no longer on the hard drive, some great games that I simply do not play, other great turkeys that never really flew, after all turkeys only go so far!

Nope, not that. Mobius got a bit excited - it's an exciting feature, but it has been (in some form) present in tactical games before just not in 3D tactical games, to my knowledge. This is also a better version of it than I've seen before. This was actually on the long-term wish list and I didn't think it would make this release. We're still working on it, so I don't want to get into details yet because getting it completed and polished will be right down to the wire for the release.

Regards,

- Erik

Intriguing! So something not in Combat Mission but present, in some form, in tactical games.

Some sort of RPG element? [:(]

Go on, give us a clue. Name a game with the 'feature' and see if anyone can deduce what it is [:D]
Cheers

Ok. This feature exists in Steel Panthers, but not in exactly the same form.

Ah ah! The games afoot.

Been a while since I played SteelPanthers and I may be thinking of SP3 Brigade Leader but the only significant feature that comes to mind is Command Control/leaders.

From memory this was a more detailed C&C model than in PCOWS or CM. For sure, this would be a fantastic addition to PCK.

Warm?
Cheers

Hmmmm.......in SP but not in CM.

Unit roster, encyclopeadia?.... not really needed given the existing setup in PC.

Something like weather or lighting or variable visibilty?

I can think of a few things that are in CM but not PC, but not with SP and not in CM.

Apart from the obvious differences engendered by the IGO/UGO system in SP, I'm stumped.
