Driving hard on Lenn to relieve the finns.. they are just tooooo weak lol
I managed also to enter a port and shell the enemy oopsi and ran out of ap to leave.. captains scuttled the ships and blew out there brains

I realize where all those pp are comingfrom for his upgrades, the vp amounts from held cities come to the players each turn.. I will get to f3 soon and he is at inf 2, so its catch up.. we skirmish near Braynsk, and I continue to drop paras behind the lines interdicting supplies etc... I love paras on a big map.. He managed to build along the lower Dneipre, and My romanians got caught crossing withoug scouts ouchiiiie.
But those troops are not mobil, and I think that the cost of supplies is perhaps too much in this version and thinking about a front long spread of units is laughable... unless all of them had under 20 sft .. and Xbx always stacks his guys pretty deeply..
I air raided on stack and they went away.. need to do that more often lol
no pix but I am racing east unaposed in the south center...

Promising start of the next turn. Not a too bad loss ratio during an enemy turn :)

I am dumb :D. Forgot to assign HQs for 2 headquarters and wondered why my troops are out of supply. Fortunately no serious harm was done yet. But still :D.

Freeboy presented me a small gift though. He placed a single german tank division in front of my infantryhordes. Easy prey :)

Another attack at that front. That's what Stalin calls a successful soviet defeat. 41 rifle and 6 mg soviet casualities, 24 rifle, 4 smg, 2mg, 1 mortar, 1 tank destroyer and 1 halftrack german losses.
5600 vs. 9590 for the germans measured in production points.

My forces nearly reach Lenn, and none too soon as somehow Mannerheim lost all his supplies stockpiled oops..
I am throuwn back at Voreshnof,sp? as a daring rear area acommando raid is thwarted.

XBX blocking party at Bryansk is pushed aside and the road looks good to tula..

In the South I forge ahead towards Karkov.. I need about 100 trucks! lol

Near Lenn, (to the South) strong German forces push aside Reds holdingthe town south of the lake?? His supplies are jepardiized
No other area has seen such a back and forth, and while my forces which took Lenningrad twice and the factory for some time are gone, they stopped him from getting some troops , equipment and pp's, Lenn gives three per turn.. and drew his reserves and reinforcmetns there.. rather than at somewhere more critical.

This is a very rough post , sorry.. I will take some fresh pix soon.. after turn 9 we are approaching Tula, KArkov and racing North toward Lenn.. The non Red lives are from previous turns, the red line from this one...

You can see the major pushes in the south, center and north.. all against reletively light resistance..
XbX has been building troops in my way, we shall overwhelm them as they look to be small blocking forces.. save the major forces near LEnn, a great battle awaits us there.

Don't believe the nazi propaganda lies [:D].

Russian Airforce spots a rare opportunity. A large german bomber fleet in striking range of our fighters and without adequate cover via flak or fighters. Another glorious victory in the air war.

Kills/losses are very acceptable again for the russians.

Could you post a screen where your other fighters have been?

Hm i reloaded the last turn to check where your other fighters have been. They are exactly 10 hexes away and have some fighter I. Their intercept range is 10 hexes, but if i flew like 8 hexes close they intercepted as they should.
So your fighters probably had <100 readiness and thus only 8-9 hexes intercept range. So i think WAD

@freeboy
I already explained in your other thread that probably reduced readiness caused a reduction of intercept range.
Boron tested and it´s the case i´m sure. There is no problem or something. You just had your fighters too far away
when they did not have 100 readiness. Even 99 would not have been enough in case they had to intercept 10 hexes away [;)]

ok, why would they have reduced rediness if they whrer at 100percent the turn before, and when I opened up this turn? does rediness fluctuate randomly duringthe oponents turn?

It's possible that on the turn that they dropped in readiness they didn't have enough supplies distributed to them, to maintain their readiness.

again, the hq they are drawing is WAY possitive for this ver y reason, anyway I was graciously allowed to redo my turn, and as a penelty, self impossed I moved my entire fleet of Heavies to get re indoctrinated in nasty propaganda and prepare for total war!

The pp grants each turn are imo a little high, or not for troops but for research they are.. perhaps a higher cost for level 3 and 4 build would be appropriote imo
