We are playing a slightly modded version. I fixed the 2 bugs with german soviet hqs and one soviet factory only producing 50%. I also wanted to change the conscripts, made them recruitable and deleted the conscript event instead. Unfortunately i slightly screwed up and forgot to assign the conscript number to the itemtype, so i can't build conscripts currently :D.

I'll play nontheless since the soviets got a few additional factories in v3, so it might be an interesting battle :)

Hi guys,

Are the naval mine losses being reported as submarine losses? I'm wondering where all the dying subs are coming from...[&:]

Turn four is unleashed upon the SOVS with no remorse after last games stumbles.. Minks and Lenn fall, Kiev is Bombed and everywhere are troops advance.. but these days of open roads are no more on this last blitz turn.. so we prepare for the tough fighting ahead..

We take the airfield, factory and recruiting center nears Lenningradm, and more importantly hold them. This is from the begginning of turn 2:

Another shot from AGS of note here is the LACK of the large red army tank groups.. few tanks sft remain after being hunted from the sky.

I hold the Factory! I cannot believe my luck as turn three show the factory near Lenn still in Finnish hands... I "oopsied" this though and forgot to ocuppy the recruiting center... but it inadvertantly paid a mistake divedend as XBX moved into it in turn three and did not hold it or Lennengrad as a result, although it was a few sft left for each in the end of the attack on Lenn on turn 4

Here is what things looked like at the begginning of turn 3

There are too many red troops and too few trucks to addequitely reach Kiev by turn four.. this is the shot of some open territory with few defenders at the beginning of t3

Well historically kiev did held out quite a while and the germans did use forces from AG center then for their kiev pocket.

At least the blitz is finally over. Russians wipe out an isolated german panzer division in front of kiev.

no close ups for the rest of the map, too many details of the master plan, but this is a overview with the front after German t4 in place, near Pskov I took on fortified hex away. Lenn fell, Mink too. Kiev approached and bombed.. Crimia approached

At Pskov we also do some local counterattacks. 39th german ID gets wiped out. Another counterattack there fails though and results in bloody soviet losses. At least our troops managed to kill one enemy tank too.
