Why would anybody in their right mind think this was anything but a bug or a glitch?

You replied to me, but I am guessing you werent meaning to, since I didnt say anything about it not being a bug or glitch.
I am pointing out that Plimus has had a lot of problems in the really short time Matrix has been using them,....

Yeah, sorry, it wasnt meant at you......And Plimus do have lots of issues but thats who they are using so lets give them a little time to get the teething problems worked out.

With the problems I have had this is just another example of why I'm limiting purchases from Matrix now.

If I do buy a game it will probably be through NWS and not Matrix directly.

Long live Digital River! [&o]

That's too bad. We had far more problems with Digital River early on when we first started doing business with them and those problems generally took much longer to solve. In this case, the problem was solved in about a day, and all orders for customers who actually paid for this incorrect shipping option (which only affected a few products) are getting refunded the difference between that and the normal default shipping option.

LOL - try ordering online while living in hawaii - I didn't realize it was an issue - assumed it was the 'special' hawaii rate and it covered the costs of actually swimming it over here.

Hey is Duff's still open - how are the wings - I used to live there many moons ago

You can't be serious. Digital River was s**t. I practically threw a party when Matrix announced they'd (finally!) dumped their worthless asses.

Whatever problems there've been with Plimus, at least they seem to give a damn. Even more importantly, they've been quick to fix whatever issues have cropped up thus far.

The best thing about all of this? Matrix must be selling a lot of games. That means they will be around to make more games for us to play.

I fall on the side of Plimus. Growth pangs are growth pangs.  And they seem to be fixing problems as they arise.

I had actually stopped buying at Matrix because of "Inimical Reefer," I mean digital river (I could hazard a guess on which digit they meant).**

The problem is that the bugs and glitches seem to always work in their favor.

well, to be honest I don't think this is in Matrix' favor at all..Don't think this is very good publicity at all

They are still open..They just had a wing-off with Anchor Bar and they won....I still think their wings are a bit too saucy but lots of people like them. I am partial to Wiseguys honey mustard wings myself.......

I always liked duffs over the anchor - sadly wings are crazy expensive (6-8 wings $6) here. Glad there's frank's wing sauce and Costco for the wings.

Beggars can't be choosers [:D]

I don't believe Wiseguys was around when I moved away ~1989 - I'll add it to my list of things to do when I visit.

Been a Matrix customer for a long, long time........have somewhere around a dozen games and I have to support Erik on this one. DR was full of major headaches for Matrix and their customers.

Who in their right mind would feel the need to post twice to rag a guy who was a little upset. I think you two are even [8|] . What you can't be upset on a internet forum anymore...is this un-PC too? Nobody made you read it.

You don't think his original post was a bit over the top? Seriously? Being upset is one thing but think before you write.... Since when does a developer figure out the charges for shipping? I've been upset multiple times with Matrix but usually I try too figure out what the problem is first and contact them to work it out before ranting in a forum.....And you can be upset on the internet without being rude.

Btw, nobody made you read my posts either.....

Nope...don't even know you......Just saying that you could have tried contacting Matrix first or even asking us for help before ranting. I understand you were upset but there was a better way of doing it.

So - here I was looking through some forums I frequent with their recent posts and wondering why I have not posted on Matrix Forums afor a while - and then it hit me - out of the blue - like an epiphany - there's a new breed around. And that new breed has complete disregard for the audience.

This is a family board - where people of all ages are apparently welcome to come and discuss wargaming and historical issues, regardless of age and gender. My daughters or wife are meant to be able to come on here and read posts and gain feedback and information - and you've just banned them. Congratulations you big growed up! [8|]
