Orel

You can still potentially trap the Orel forces the rail line from Yelets to Volovo is cut so no rail resupply of course he can supply by road and air but in 1941 Russian supply situation was not good, also they are not cut off completely there is narrow corridor to escape but he cant get them all out and if you seal it off in the next couple of turns properly you have the chance to possibly take Voronezh. The rail junction 10 miles east of Volovo is crucial since your units are regt level you need to secure it to be certain.

Now of course your opponent is not going to sit idly by and just let you stroll in and take it but the speed your moving he may not have the strength to hold your forces back.

Moscow

I have only ever seen one other ARR where Moscow was on the verge of falling in 41 this is pretty cool, your opponent has put a valiant fight but you take Noginsk and Kurovskoe get a strong unit to push out that routed Div and hold the hex or in fact any hex next to Moscow proper and he's in real trouble, you can take Ryazan from what I see there is a lot of routed enemy Div's, again you will have to see how your opponents next couple of turns play out, potentially you could have two massive pockets and your opponents closest supply base is now Saratov.

Leningrad

Looks like you have cut the main Moscow / Leningrad rail line unfortunately there are two others which means the factories will be moved but I don't think it will matter much for you.

Well that's my two cents on the current state of the AAR

regards

Orel - I am just too weak there. It would required commiting significant part of AGC in order to make meaningfull progress there. Big part of AGS northern advance was illusion of strenght advantage.

Moscow - It is big gamble, I have commited almost all Panzer from AGN and most of reinforcements go there.

Leningrad - It is out of reach. All eggs are in 1 basket.

Turn 14 End 1/3

North

All but 1 mobile units removed from AGN - remaining one is stuck east of Lake Ilmen and extracting it would take several turn and required reinforcement I am unwilling to send there.

Fighting around Moscow intensifty.
Northern wing did make some acceptable progress while southern shifted direction of attack west and penetrated deeply into Soviet defences.
AGC is supported by two rail lines - going via Smolensk and Velkie Luki

Last turn's weak push in Orel area was easily contained by my opponent.

I have managed to cross Don east of Rostov so if defences are not strenghtened I might be able to encircle it before mud.

Big big day.

Northern pincer broke through Sovier defences and southern once again changes direction of attack and advanced enough to surround city. There is small change that ring might be broken, but if that happends I should be able to reseal it.

Numerous infantry are arriving from Tula area so they will gradually take over fighting from mobile forces.

I succeded in capturing decent amount of ground beyond Don river. Assuming no significant reinforcement arrive Rostov can be encircled before mud.

I managed to pierce small hole in Crimeas defences but it is too little too late to make real diffrence.
