Pushing the Finns back to Vyborg will cause them to surrender relatively quickly as you already control Narva and Pskov. So a strong offensive out of Leningrad could be quite successful, as he has most of his Finns in the far north. That would free up some forces on your side.

Be careful going on the offensive west of Narva, as he could relatively easily surround your forces against the sea if he pushes at the "hinge" at Lake Peipus.

Good idea. Thanks for your input. I really like it when people give me good ideas. Keep 'em coming.

I have to admit that KLilly has me stumped on what he is doing....given the sudden occurrence of armor near the Crimea, I'd expect an attack there. But why would he be withdrawing in the north and center? Is he hurting for manpower? Where is he withdrawing to?

And I *still* would not be concerned about Finland. You can hold him off with a few brigades and fortified zones and withdraw all other troops now to where the action is happening. Once Berlin is gone, you can easily withdraw 40 or so Guard corps and 60.000 airplanes to bulldoze into Helsinki.

I like that phrase "bulldoze" into Helsinki.

I've still got the same problem I had last turn in the NorthWest Front, which is that I don't have enough people to expand into the vacant
space left when the Axis units pulled back to the south. I've got mostly rifle brigades in this area which I guess I'll keep moving into the
empty hexes and see if I can't manufacture some rifle Corps to rail up here or something.

T81: KLilly has found a weak spot and is pushing hard down south. I'm going to have to pull back slightly and reform my front lines.

Here's the situation after I did my moves. I'm pulling back toward the south and trying to beef up the area under duress to prevent a
breakthrough.

I believe the artillery divisions use both 122 and 152 mm stuff...that's just a guess; I don't remember the TOE at the moment.  I know that light arty brigades use the 76 mm stuff.

Ah...finally KLilly shows his hand and the Panzers reappear. His big problem is that his front is too long and he is running out of counters to put in the front line. So he is trying to:
- shorten the line by eliminating the Crimea bulge.
- stopping your center offensive which threatens to stretch the line even further

If you can stop these offensives by amassing troops in front of them (like in the Crimea) you can wear him down. Ideally, if you have enough troops in front of him, you can stomp on his Panzers with stacked Rifle corps. In the mean time keep attacking where his Panzers are not. The only thing you have to avoid are these 25+ division encirclements. As long as he can't do that, he can't really hurt you.

Tip: there is still a hole in your Crimea position: if he attacks the 9-7 below his two panzer stacks, there are only some HQs to the south east. If you have any troops left that you can move there, I'd advise to do so.

1) Sappers and other attachments for all your Infantry Corps if you do not have them already
2) Combine Divs into Guard Inf Corps
3) Combine Divs into Regular Inf Corps
4) Tank Brigades (or will this kill your vehicles?) You probably have a few thousand T-34 and KV-1s in the pool.

Can you show us your entire replacement pool?

Why yes, I can. I'm hoping these T82 numbers are the numbers you're looking for:
