...That's all I see as well. You're good to go!

Well that confirms it, so I'm going to amend the hot-fix instructions:

Suggested installation process:

Download/move the attachment into the AE folder containing the current AE EXE file.

Double-click to unzip the attachment, then extract the contents into the C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific directory.

Say "yes" to all.

A successfull install will update AE to .1096 w/ a Dec 19 date.

How tedious is that?

I can do both, but only w/the proper instructions; that's why AE came w/a detailed manual!

I thought it was fairly straight forward when I upgraded to 1096. What's the problem ?

Didn't you mean 1096a?

Actually you didn't despite the title of this thread: RE: Patch 02 Hot fix (build 1096a)

There's a display problem with the dialog used to create TFs. The first and second entries in the from window are overlaid. This suggests a fencepost error.

Does this one (below) mean a fix for the reports of 'AM air phase not executing for the AI'?

Question, my Japanese opponent has updated his game to hotfix, build 1096a, but I haven't yet. It seems like you've overwritten the download for build "a" with the one for build "e" in the forum. Is it safe for me to download the "e" version to work on my part of the turn or might this cause problems ?

You will both need to use the same version.

So is there still a place where I can find build 1096a ? Otherwise it might be bit hard to use the same version.

I think it would be too confusing for us to post multiple hot fix versions - but if your opponent still has it - he might share it with you. Just have him zip it up and send it to you!

Just ran a quick test on a 'problem' save I had set aside which always skipped the AM air phase ... and its working great now, everything as it should.
Also checked the issue with opening the repair base function and it causing issues with ship lists/invis lists etc ... also fixed and looking good.

Nice job all.

Luckily my opponent still had the hotfix, thanks for the work you keep putting into the game.

I can't post a screenie ( at work atm) I can confirm this is occurring to me as well. Problem is intermittent, which I know makes it very difficult to troubleshoot. I'll follow up tonight & see if I can figure out how to post jpegs on this forum.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
