Hear Hear.

Nice work. We need to convince Vic to make these counters an out-of-box option in games.

I wonder are there people that actually prefer the out-of-box counters? Maybe its just my geek self that likes the cryptic NATO glyphs.

Vic's Decisive Campaign games have a button to turn NATO counters on/off. If we get a AT Platinum someday I'm sure it will have that feature also.

I've updated the ATG NATO Counters MOD for Random Games to support ATG 2.14b beta patch released today by Vic in zip file form. See top most post for download link. When Matrix Games releases the installer version I will remove links to the v2.13b files.

Thank you so much. You are so prompt with these.

You do realise that doing such a thing would make your nato counters mod obsolete right?

best,

I fully realize that. I keep up with this mod because I know a sizable number of ATG players prefer NATO unit counters. Ideally, the game itself should provide that feature.

While I've updated the mod, the only change is that I've modified the NATO unit counters by adding unit size designations to some unit types (i.e. XX for division, X for brigade, etc.) If you don't care for this change, my original graphic files without the size designations are in the NATO graphic folders and you can simply do some rename operations to change them back. Alternately, you can install this NoSize mod and it will overwrite the counters for you.

On Feb 24/13 the links for the Nato mod just take me to the code. Of course I erased the download I already had thinking I would never need it.

Note: If you get strange characters on your screen by left clicking the download link, try right clicking and choose Save Link As (Firefox/Chrome) or Save Target As (Internet Explorer).

I have to use the NATO symbols. Having my engineers look like hockey players and my infantry look like ballerinas makes me crazy...

Hi Web,

I have a doubt with the Lancer Enhanced Resources/AI NATO mod. When select 5 in the start screen I see during a random game in the brief the following message: "Created with the masterfile nERM_EAI_Officer_v214.at2"

However, the latest Lancer mod is called (in atgscenarios folder) "ERM_EAI_Officers_v214.at2" Is your later NATO mod based in this file or in a previous one?

Thanks

My NATO mod for Lancer's Enhanced Resources/AI mod is based on his latest version. I removed the 's' in my filename.

[Obsolete - removed] Updated NATO Counters Mod to support Vic's test beta build, v2.15 (dwnNATO.at2). Also made a few text changes (officer names, regimes names) to the anewdawn.at2 file.
