July 21st:
Norfolk Island - RO-62 gets 2 TT hits on APD (sunk). 19 Zeros sweep aside 17 Nz Kitty & 10 Wildcats (losses are 1:4).
Port Morseby - 35 Zeros sweep before 64 Lily/Sally from Horn Island hit AF and then 72 Kates sink 4 PT in port.
Lanchow - usual bombing
Nanning - now empty
Noumea - ASW TF and small SC TF head for Luganville
CVs spotted 2 SW of Norfolk (122F, 170B, 8Aux) - so 3 American CVs present!!
Naka Ha-45 to 2/43. 4 of 5 George factories repaired and R&D at 54 to date. Hope to get them in 10/42!!

July 22nd:
Port Morseby - Brian moved in 72 P-39s and 12 Kitty. I lose 70 planes (34 pilots), mostly Kates, to only 12 Allies. Meanwhile, 7 CAs and 8 DDs are two days away (west of Horn Island).
Attu - I finally land here!
Nanning - empty base now Japan's

Notes:
KB2 (189 planes) & 3 (168 planes) are 6 hexes due east of Rabaul.
KB4 (237 planes) is 5 due west of Truk heading south now (CV Hiyo, Junyo, 4x CVL). 2 fast AOs TFs with over 100k fuel each still slightly west, but headed towards Tulagi now.

Screenshot shows ALL those TFs headed to NW, but....

Brian has been very slow to move on New Calendonia. Maybe it was waiting on 2nd CV TF that shows up this turn? His totals are 208F, 226B, 28Aux.

We will adjust. This mod gets 120 PP per day vs normal 75 that John is using for official version.
I may lose New Calendonia, but I think I can hurt him in long run. 😉

CV Akagi and her sister, Amagi, are up at Kobe for upgrade and have another 30 days until complete. KB1 has a CVL. In the next 30 days I get the third of four Shokaku Class CVs and the lead CVL of Aso Class (36 planes and 33 knots).
So, I will decide to sent them either south or east by then. [:)]

KB2, 3, and 4 only moved 4 hexes instead of 7 to get my desired 7 hexes away from the Americans.
Damn short legged DDs.
