You don't have a HR preventing invasions/paradrops at non base/dot base hexes?

Personally- you're forked.

I think we have a rule about beach landing at non-base/dot hex beaches but I dont think we have a limitation on air landing....but I can't remember.

That is why we have Admiral Lord Sprior to consult on such matters.[8D]

Edmund B. Sebree was born in Illinois on 7 January 1898.

He served in both World Wars and the Korean War.

He died on 25 June 1966 in San Francisco. He was highly decorated: Distinguished Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Silver Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

During the real war as a Brigadier-General he briefly commanded the Americal Division during the Guadalcanal campaign. Thereafter he returned to the States to train the 35th Infantry Division, acting as its Assistant Division Commander, and thereafter as Assistant Division Commander of the 28th Infantry Division. He then commanded the independent Task Force Sebree during the campaign in Lorraine, France, assisting with the liberation of Nancy.

After World War II he was the first Defense Attache to Australia. When the Korean War broke out, he was a Major-General, later placed in command of the 7th Infantry Division.

Something tells me he isn't going to make it to Korean War(c).

******Inaugural meeting, La Société du la Libération de la Femme de Loraine, Loraine, France, July 25, 1944(a)********

Gen. Sebree: Nancy, on behalf of Mrs. Roosevelt, I wish to present you with this signed photograph and inspirationl message. Congratulations. <hands her the photograph>

Middle-aged woman (we presume) with no make-up, a Joan of Arc haircut and trousers: <she accepts the photograph, smiling> It reads, "Dear Nancy, remember you are as smart as a man and they are all beasts, did I mention that?" <she giggles and then thrust her closed fist into the air> VIVE LA FEMME!!!!!

No, not me, they don't make any track suits baggy enough for me to have got down the elevator.

I am really suffering waiting for the turn. I think I can speak for Admiral Lord Sprior when I say that we would like to thank the community for helping to keep our minds off it.

Surprising that this conference was in Las Vegas. It is my understanding that, in this country, Washington DC has the greatest preponderance of tumescent pr....

Oh, never mind.

Classic. [8D]

The Lorraine Campaign is a bit of a forgotten one.

It involved the entire US Third Army and lasted for three-and-a-half months. The Americans suffered 55,182 combat casualties and 75,000 Germans prisoners were taken.

Yet very little has been written on it, it's almost completely absent from popular culture.

That depends. Do you have an offensive body odor or are you hiding from Seal Team 6? If the answer to either of those questions is "yes", then, I am afraid, we will have to decline.

If you are hiding from:

1) An angry ex-gf

2) A bill collector

3) The IRS

4) Your HOA

..then please enter. You are among freinds.

Alfred

<looks furtively from side to side>

The Frau Braun reference reminds me of a Schwarzenegger joke:

Ahnold is sitting at a bar having a lager.

Bartender: Governor. I was sorry to hear about the marriage thing.

Ahnold: Ach, it is for ze better. Maria, always wis ze ve-ge-ta-bles..... and ze Kennedys. Teddy zis, Teddy zat. I vas tired of it. I told here ve live in Cu-lee-for-neeyah. Forget Teddy.

Bartender: Yes, but what about how it happened? Wasn't that tough?

Ahnold: Ah, ya, let me tell you. Zat vas Marias fault too. Ze maid ask for a raise, zo I go to Maria who vas ze woman of ze house and I zay, "Maria, ze maid is asking for a raise." But it is zat time of ze month and Maria vas very angry and she zay, "**** ZE MAID!"

You guys must be overstacked big time there, no? It's only a level 2AF, right, how many engines you have that call(ed) Exmouth home?

Can't explain the casualties though. Open terrain, no forts, I presume?
