guilty as charged. (though you still hold the record in delays [:'(] )

This week has been crazy with tests and quizzes. I'm lucky to get out a WitP turn in over 10 minutes. BTR.....unless i want to not fly and try to raise morale....takes longer [:(]

whats to say......i've owned both Bombing the Riech and battle of Britian (Talonsoft) for years but never had the time to play much less by PBEM. Speedy offered a game to tutor me and so i took the plunge. Its a monster game thats even more intimidating at first than WitP.

Was quite overwhelmed at first (i'm Allies) There's so many targets, and even more airgroups to manage + Bomber Command is thrown in too (Night bombing campaign) Yikes.

I have no idea how "well" i'm doing. I think i'm doing ok. (managed to score an industry point or two and an Air superiority point.

Cant say. Like i said, i'd never had a real chance to dig into either game, PBEM or AI. My game with Speedy is my first plunge into the deep end for BTR....(though i suppose BoB would have been a better choice as it has far less resources and targets to manage)

My last experience with this subject was USAAF. So far, the experience has been superior and Speedy, I must admit....is a tough opponent (then again he's a veteran of the game too.) I've only just started actually "winning" a few air battles.....the first month was my boys getting their tails kicked all over the place. Only Bomber Command was making progress.

Hi guys,

It is a fantastic game if I do say so myself (not biased). The level of details is brilliant and it offers so many options for play - do you go for Ball Bearings or Chemicals etc.......

If i'm honest Nik is doing OK for his first PBEM. I think he's running at about 5 pr 6:1 loss ratio. If the Allies can get a 2:1 or 3:1 they are doing pretty good. Keep in mind with BTR as it stands it is HARD to get a 1:1 or even better kill ratio against a human. I won't deny I am playing conservatively as the Axis though especially in regard to my daylight interceptions - not massing for attack, trying to play realistically etc. Nik's doing ok though as I say[:)]

Mike - If you're interested Matrix are revamping BTR and BoB + many other Talonsoft titles. Check out the necessary forums for info etc. I'm a tester for BoB and BTR and I can say the revamp should be pretty darn good[8D]

As for against the AI. As the Allies the AI struggles. In short it's not much of a challenge there. As the Axis it can do ok depending on how you play the Allies/how good you are.

If you want anymore info/questions etc fire away.......

Ah Faber has sent me a WiTP turn.....[8D]

Hi all,

Preparations continue for the next stage of expansion.....as such the quiet continues.

Forts from PM bomb Rabaul at night again. They cause no damage and a plane is lost due to engine trouble on the way home.

--------------

SS O16 is intercepted by several IJN destroyers which fail to fix her location.

On the 16th I-7 is attacked by several US DD's escorting a convoy inbetween the West Coast and PH. Some minor damage is caused by nearby DC's.
