Since ASW is a step in between (Step # 17)
step # 18 would be
go to the fridge to get yourself a nice cold beer, taking a long look on the work you have done. notice that, a) your boss spoke on you answering machine a day ago saying that since you didn't appear at work the last three days, you don't have to tomorrow or the day after tomorrow either; b) you find a note from your wife on the kitchen table telling you she has gone back to her parents/ wants a divorce/ wants to know who that yamamoto sl%§ is you have been talking about in your sleep all the time.

Just to *really* tick me off seeing as I wanted to show it in action, it went and picked option #4, normal historic turn one.

I really killed me, because the game right before it that I had played was Operation Infield and it netted me both USN CV's sunk on turn one and 2 BB's at PH. It was simply amazing! [:D]

Btw: For those interested, you'll note my little CV that is so pissing Mogami off vanished for a couple of turns. Air Sortie points in action. Poor little guy ran out and had to run home to get some more. Proof in action of how nicely it worked.

ORIGINAL: Mogami

Hi, I've been conducting a fighting withdraw. I held the airfields up north long enough for all the short legged airgroups to escape. The groups that remain can all reach Rangoon from Singapore. Now I have to find a few units to send to Malaya. (Percy is gone. The first PP I spend I send him to be head of Cricket team in Karachi.

I sent the Dutch air transport groups to Palembang and they are busy flying supply to Batavia and Singapore.

Still need to understand the Japanese plan more before I try anything fancy.

Mogami, can you give us an idea on what units are availble to you at this stage in the game. I believe historically the first substantial reinforcement to Malaya was the 44th and 45 Indian Bgds. I think someone mentioned that currently in the game the Brit 18th Div. arrives on the map in early January. You should be getting some Hurricane Squadrons soon as well.

Also just curious what did it cost you in PPs to get rid of Percy and just how bad are his ratings in the game? Who did you replace him with? Is Slim available?

Thanks

Hi, I'll update all this next turn. However having a unit on map (for me at least) does not mean it can be used to reinforce Singapore. The unit has to be ready. I have quite a few formations I could send right now but they are not ready to move.
