Mr Frag versus Mogami

Post by mogami »

Hi, I'd post AAR but there is no point. Frag is running like a scalded dog. Air groups, ships and even the troops in Malaya (they are running north.
Frag didn't even wait for the war to start. He started running before the Japanese started the war.

He won't get away his troops will just die tired.

I'm not retreating, I'm attacking in a different direction!

[:D]

Sure, I get reports of every ship there is leaving port days ago and he expects me to sit back and let him cream the entire SRA??? If it wasn't for a stupid commander at PH, they would have been on their way too, but some moron decided that PH was a safe place to keep the fleet!

In 1941 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Horii down to mighty Singapore
We took a little sushi and we took a little rice
And we caught the bloody British in the town of Kula Lumpar

We fired our guns and the British kept a'runnin'
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin' (faster)
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

We looked down the river and we seed the British run
And there must have been a hundred of 'em beatin' on the drum
They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring (retreat)
We stood and laughed till our ears began to bleed

We fired our guns and the British kept a'runnin'
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin' (faster)
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

Old Horii said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't fire our rifles till we looked 'em in the eyes
We held our fire till we seed their faces well
Then we opened up our Ariska guns and gave 'em ..Well....we...

...fired our guns and the British kept a'runnin'
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin' (faster)
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

Yeah they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go
They ran so fast that the tanks couldn't catch 'em
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

We fired our cannon till the barrel melted down
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round
We filled his head with cannonballs 'n' powdered his behind
And when we touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind

We fired our guns and the British kept a'runnin'
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began to runnin' (faster)
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

Yeah they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go
They ran so fast that the tanks couldn't catch 'em
On down the Malayan coast to the Gulf of Singapore

All the Allied Fanboys are hiding ... They only come out when more are sunk and to heck with Japan when they get the shaft! [:D]

It is a somewhat ODD result, in that the BB's took about 5 times as many bomb hits
as the historic result, but came off quite well against torpedoes. Several people have
suggested a start that has the historic results of PH "hardwired", but the general con-
census has always seemed to be against it. And if you have variable results, then once
in a while they are going to be better than average, and sometimes they are going to
be worse than average. This game seems to have started with worse than average
on the Japanese side/better than average on the Allied. To talk knowlegeably about
how the system models the average, some testor is going to have to run the PH attack
about 100 times and look at the results curve. This one result says nothing except
that the Japanese player had some bad "die rolls" in this particular game.
