Map feature

Post by deagu »

Hello

may it be possible to "open" the suez-canal for ship traffic?
It would help to build scenarios which require a short transit connection between the mediterranean sea and the persian gulf (Syria-Iran).

Thanks

Great to see someone getting involved in new scenario building. [:)]

Unfortunately, there isn't a work-around solution to allow ships to move across land. Unless there is a major re-build / change in the map coordinates / information, this ability will be out of our reach.

Looking forward to trying your scenarios! [8D]

Hello
My question went in the direction of that major change that you are describing. I think there might be one or two more changes to consider in that direction (panama-canal). There was a discussion at the harpoon-hq-forum some time ago. But i don't know if it ever reached the developer-team.

Thanks for your reply[:)]

Hey Deagu,

It did [:)] Maps are pretty static was the answer to that question IIRC. No harm bringing it up again.

Maybe when the first run of patching is over someone has the time to take care about it.

Thanks Mik [:)]
