Footballs

I just uploaded a folder with four footballs to FBMax. Included are a USFL ball, two WFL balls and the new NFL ball. Because people have created complete sets of uniforms for these leagues, I thought we should have the balls that go with them. They are in the unsorted section at the moment in a file called “Footballs.”

As just about everything in Maximum Football can be customized, I am surprised that no one has tried to create custom balls sooner.

It is hard to see much of the detail on the balls in the game, but in a few fleeting close-ups, particularly during replays, you can. The USFL and WFL balls are distinctive because of their color so they look good from any distance. If you are as obsessive about small details as I am, I hope these will enhance your enjoyment of the game.

I was hoping to do more balls, but I do not have the time at the moment. If I get some, I will add a CFL ball as well as additional historic balls. However, in the meantime, if anyone else would like to tackle these projects, that is fine with me. A great source of information on footballs is here: http://www.markthompson.us/gameballs

I do mine your site for downloads. I’m sorry I missed that one. I was afraid that the XFL and Arena balls would be difficult so that is a good job done and a job done well.
