I see that you have gotten no response to your question in the past 6 days. This is probably because no one has any idea what to tell you. I am running windows xp professional service pack 2 (which has been automatically updated as mainly security corrections come out) and have had no such problem.

Sorry I could not help, just wanted you to know you are not just being ignored. Maybe it would help to post this in the support section of this forum. Perhaps that powers that be will notice it and respond.[;)]

sounds too me like .dlls didn't register. Make sure you have updated MDAC,Jet, Direct X and then you should have an install file in your puresim directory. I would post that in the support forum so Shaun sees it.

2 things to try:

1. make sure you are running the latest version of IE6 at a minimum

2. take a trip to windows update, make sure all the latest updates are applied.

Hmm. This is the file "zlibocx.ocx" which should be in the same folder you installed the game to. If you reinstalled and rebooted then this should have been installed and registered correctly.

Try this:

1. From the Start menu click "Run"
2. Then type: CMD
3. You will be at a command prompt
4. Type: cd "\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2007"
5. Type: regsvr32 zlibocx.ocx
