Why is Monday a Holiday??? Don't Forget!!

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Why is Monday a Holiday??? Don't Forget!!

Post by Paul Vebber »

Given the Spirit of the US Memorial Day weekend, I ask all those who enjoy SP:WaW and feel money burning a hole in your pocket (in guilt for getting it free:-) Take that money you would have spent on the game and donate it to your favorite Veteran's charity. Matrix is partial to the National WW2 Memorial camapign...but let your own heart be your guide!

And take a moment this weekend to remember those for whom war was not a game!!

And for any Brits out there. Donations to the British Legion will be put to good use to help our Vet's too. You'll find a local branch in your local phone book!
In times of war we see the worst that man has to offer. But we also see the best that man has to offer.

Rumanian-Americans should also remember the brave cavalrymen who died liberating Bessarabia from Soviet aggression.

As there are currently no *trustworthy* Rumanian veterans programs, please donate instead to a charity of your choice.
