Wow, the ships and planets and such look very good indeed. But what are the little icons at the center of some of the planets? Do they have something to do with the status of cities? (Their tech level?) And what about those cities anyway? Are you still working on the graphics for them or are you actually going to use the wireframe-ish things?

Anything on the surface of a planet has been changed into a kind of heads-up display presentation. Cities are now represented in this fashion. Think of it as the computer projecting an image over a planet for targetting and recognition. Takes a little getting use to but I think it ends up giving a more realistic representation of a tactical display. You'll of course, let me know.

Yow! But that does look fine. Love the shot of the cruiser entering the jump gates. This is going to be fantastic <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> I like the target lay over idea for cities it fits with the game and I like the look of the user interface. Oh hell I like it all and cant wait to play it.

well i was a member back at the apezone website but i kinda drifted off...
the new game looks really great! i can't wait. i remember that really the only thing that could be significantly improved upon on the original was the graphics, but now i see they are great... i am awaiting a perfect game (not to put pressure on you...)

It looks very good. One potential problem is that
the ships seems quite difficult to pick out against the background. I know screenshots can sometimes be deceptive when it comes to details like this though.
