Aircraft Reinforcement question

I just started playing UV scenario 17 as US. Decided to jump in with both feet. I have a puzzling question though. On the aircraft reinforcement screen I see two entries for P-39 Airocobra's. The first entry is large and as far as I can tell the one the Active squadrons are using to replace planes from. Can somebody please tell me what the other entry is for. No planes ever seem to be used from it. My P39 squadrons took heavy losses but this second source of plane does not seem to have any purpose as it is not providing any reinforcement. Any info would be welcome.

I believe one set is for American squadron replacements, and the other for the Aussie squadrons...

Thanks that is what I thought too. The problem is near as I can figure atleast in scenario 17 the Aussies don't have a P39 squadron. I will admit I have not checked all the other scenarios to see if there is an Aussie P39 squadron in it.
