Hi.
 
 I had been hoping to get a public beta out before last week but work related travel in August made a mess of those plans. Although I was able to work on the ferry, planes, and in the hotels, when I had the time, the time I had was pretty limited.
 
 That said, I'm pretty much in polish up mode now. Most (if not all) of the posts in the past month or so in the beta forum are along the lines of "it would be nice if..." rather than "a bug occurs when...". Where possible, I've implemented a lot of the "it would be nice if..." requests, including some surprises that nobody was expecting.
 
 The manuals are pretty much complete as far as the document copy goes. A lot of the game screens have new art and/or new functions and that needed to be documented. As well the new PDS has it's own individual manual that has been written from scratch. Once that is all complete (and the screen shots are taken) Matrix needs to format it in to final form and generate PDF files.
 
 So I would say we're pretty close to a public beta release at least.
