River and shorelines may be a possiblity!!!!!

John Tiller's Battleground Series is a Hall of Fame lineup of games covering the Civil War and Napoleonic Wars. We've compiled these classic games into two new affordable collections, incorporating updated versions of these legendary titles. Incredible historical gameplay and great value!

River and shorelines may be a possiblity!!!!!

Post by m10bob »

If anyone would look at the work that has been done on the excellent game WAR IN THE PACIFIC since its' release, one might think coastlines and rivers a possibility.
The entire global map has been altered, not by Matrix Games, but by individual contributing players, and results have been both historical and astounding!
Distances from point A to B were corrected by Andrew Brown, and others (like "El Cid Again" have corrected individual hex terrain for land/sea movement.)
With much talent present within these forums, it remains (to me) a viable option to see Age of Sails released in modules, to represent different eras of older Naval days.

I wanna see ironclads and riverines, and Teddy Roosevelts' "Great White Fleet", along with Napoleonic ships of sail, coursing their paces again..................................[:D]

I asked for Ironclads 2 years ago. I have the board game by Yaquinto and it is ideally suited for computer.
