Hey Seydlitz,

I'm looking to start a new game as the good guys [:D] PDU's, I'd say off unless you're dying to try it. Any of the scenarios sound fine. If you'd like to plan the monster first turn, we can do a Dec 7, suprise turn. Or, start on Dec 8. References available upon request. [8D]

Sounds good Mark.
Let's do the following:

Big B's B mod scenario 192 v1.2. This is essentially the B mod version of scenario 15 using the AB extended map. It is in ver 1.2 because Brain fixed a few starting unit location issues.

I have always done historical first turn or Dec 8th start. If you are willing, I would like to try something a little different....

Historical first turn OFF
December 7 surprise OFF
PDU OFF
Weather: OFF
Sub Doctrines: OFF
Allied DC: ON
Fog of War: ON
Reinforcements: Extremely Variable
Turns: 1 day cycle

I know that I won't get the Japanese Warp speed bonus, but at the same time, I think that it would be a fun "what if" Japan had started the war off in the nice civil manner the US had expected. It will let you attempt to execute plan orange, and I will get to reorganize my assets as I see fit without taking advantage of the move bonus to whack you. It means that I will have to also defend my bases in range of your Phillipines aircraft right from turn one. In all I think it would make for a most interesting game.

If you agree, I will start setting the first turn up. I expect that it will take me two or three days to get it set up properly (further proof that I do not have some canned hocu pocus whirlwind turn of destruction to throw at you) and back to you. After that I am good for a turn a day during the week, more on the weekend.

Let me know what save slot you want to use. I have all slots open except for 007.

BTW,
did you require any other house rules other than the two mentioned by me above (6 ship limit on ASW TF and no sub invasions)?

Regrds,
Don

Hey Don,

Sounds fine to me. I haven't done a non-suprise first turn. Should be interesting. No other house rules. I've got games in Slots 2, 7, and 10. Email is mbatchpbem@mindspring.com. Good Luck!

Good deal. We are on. I will start plotting my first turn. This will be my first no surprise game as well. It should be a lot of fun with lots of opportunities on both sides.
