I think that they were saying that the early version of WiTP ASW routine contributed to the untimely demise of T-40.[:D]

Truly very nice aircrafts. I think they are made with 3D animation?

I became really sad after watching this footage. Still can't believe how easily the Japanese planes torch. It makes you understand how vulnerable the Japanese planes really were (are in WitP).

I see the History Channel strikes again. The ground attack with the smoke just after the Corsair in level flight contains an O-2. [:D]

Check out scene at 3:23. The tripod mast in the background and the slanted funnel top of the ship on fire are from French ships. I think maybe one of the BC's. It is quite common even today to show warships on fire that could never have appeared within the context of the film. How many times have we seen the Barham blow up?

When I saw the clip those were my thoughts exactly...a spliced bit from Mers El Kebir I think.
