Failed fielder's - choice bug

I have just started 2007. Last night a bug occurred that used to show up in earlier versions of the game but that I did not see in version 2004, which I have been playing since then.

Visitors are up, no outs. Runners on first and third. Infield in. Batter hits infield ground ball and infield fails to make the play at the plate(ex. play goes "4 - 2 runner safe!"). The run scores, the runner on first moves to second, but the batter never appears on first and no out is recorded.
