If any of you find problems downloading the 1.804 patch from the Matrix ftp, I've stored it on my SendSpace account. Here's the link:

T, you are a legend. I only got the last patch because you were so thoughtful. What is wrong with the Matrix downloads these days? Many people seem to experience the same time out problem as me when trying to open the link.[&o]

T : is it allowed ? I could have done it with earlier versions as well without problems ( I got a good domain hoster here in germany , small but fine ) but I was not sure if anyone would be allowed to do this without permission from Mr. Heath/Matrixgames )

Hmmm, I'm not strictly speaking hosting it out in the open or for profit. I'd better send somebody a PM and ask.

You are supporting their work while they get their downloads fixed - they should give you a bloody medal!

If he answers that it is allowed, that might make it 'official' policy, which could hurt them later on if they get involved in some litigation over actual stealing. He might not reply... [;)]

Then I'll continue as I have so far. With 117 downloads in the last 24 hours, it's obvious that an alternative download site is needed.
