How do I get to see the actual combat animation?

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

How do I get to see the actual combat animation?

Yes I know it was kind of childish of me but I liked it in the first version and now you just get the combat report by default without seeing the battle. So – how do I turn it on?

You can't, sorry. It has been dropped (thank God for that). Image

Hey!!!!

Don’t mock. What can I say? Small mind small pleasures – I liked them for the important battles but then I always liked silly useless things. -:)

No mocking at all, was just expressing my personal opinion. I like silly things too, what I didn't like was bad looking art/animation (sorry guys). [:)]

Yes – it wasn’t that pretty was it? Still, I liked the excitement of seeing a really crucial battle. No biggy, this is still a vast improvment.

the animation all so helped in showing how well one type of unit can fight another.  maybe in the option screen you can select having the detail combat report screen be a popup after every battle.  i forget most time to check there after a battle.
