Seperate Italian and Axis nation graphics?

Are there a number of graphic modifications for this game?

I know the HOI community produced loads of stuff, but has anyone imported any to this game?


At the start of the game, the Italians have different graphics to the Germans - but when they join the Germans their units become the same as Germans with the flag - is there a way for the Italians (and other Axis powers) to keep their original units, so they look different from the Germans?

I know this has ZERO impact on play, but hey, I'm a shallow asthetics man used to the counter art on board-wargames!
