looking for group

Just got the game today, have no idea how to play it. Looking for group to help teach and or destroy me.

I don't want to hurt any feelings, but you might want to try the game in singleplayer mode first. I'd recommend to play the Russians in the "Total War" scenario to see what's going on. Not much to do until the Germans attack you, only some research and production. I wouldn't use advanced supply at first (only the normal, "immaterial" one). Then you could play Germany - more powerful, but more to do as well. When you have questions, take a look at the manual (there seems to be almost nothing which is not explained in it) or ask in the main forum where helpful people are around.

With only a few games under the hood you'll have a much better start in any PBEM. The step from the AI to the malicious human will still be enough of a challenge. Starting with it right now might result in both you and your opponent being frustrated and neverending loads of communication which might slow down things a lot. World at War is easy to play, but difficult to master.
