It would be great if......

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

It would be great if......

After sub battles were concluded, the battle box would not keep reappearing. This is not just an annoying and pointless distraction (closing the box over and over) but also a potential for losses in a game if you hit the wrong mouse button while scrolling around. It would be nice it this would go away in a patch.

I may be missing something here - but I dont see what potential you are referring to. Could you be more specific.

Nor do I really see this as a problem - maybe a tiny annoyance but nothing more.

The potential I refer to is, for one example, the existence of aircraft on CAP, that will fire at the subs again if a mistake is made.  This is certainly not a big deal, but is certainly an annoyance at best.

Annoying is the word.

I'm not sure I understand. If you remove the combat pop-up in the case of CAP, how would you actually attack with the air if that is what you wanted to do?

The only way the game knows that you want CAP instead of combat is because you DON'T hit the button.

I would suggest that it would be nice if the combat toolbar didn't keep popping up when no combat is possible. E.g. hover over a phasing sub that has already attacked but is still cohabiting a seazone with the enemy, and the combat toolbar pops up with all the buttons greyed out. Now that is pointless.

** edit ** however I would agree with Jan - a tiny annoyance is all. Better to focus development effort on the more important stuff if it is at all difficult to improve.
