i'm still waiting for the game in the mail but had a couple of questions..

how do you sign players? am i correct there is no free agency? (that wouldn't be a bad thing) if there is no free agency, do players stay with your team until they retire or are released?

are there coaches with ratings?

is editing uniforms, players, stadiums, and leagues difficult for the non-computer programmer?

what are the best downloads to use? (there are so many!)

to answer your question , when  you make a league and create  teams , you can set how big you want rosters .The roster  can be changed , using any names you want and you can make the players skills better or worst then what is in roster . When ever you start season it will  create a draft . Some of the guys here have figured how to skip the draft  so you don`t have  to re edit  and  cut players . Not sure if your first draft might remove a few players off your team or not ,but from what i understand when you click add players you`ll see any that got removed , you just add again , thats not hard at all.. the players pretty much stay till they retire.
Don`t think  there is coaching ratings.
uniforms  our not that hard  took  me  , a  little time to learn but  , since i bought game maybe  made  70  to 100 , that our posted at FBMAX.COM
As for stadiums  game has  5 or 6 generic ones . But several guys have redesigned  stadiums  or added to  generic ones . I made a set called 1960 stadiums  from 60s i posted . there from other guys here just added to them . Now to  build one from scratch  you  need a good  knowlede of 3 d   stuff . Myself  not  that smart .
 As  for  besst  downloads  its toss up , what i like you can use any  guys   uniforms  for  any leagues you want . I  made 2 cfl leagues ,  a 120  team indoor league  and  a 1960 , afl nfl league  , plus i know many others made great leagues here .
