two questions

I had the board game version of WiF, but I was quite young and my friends and I never quite got the hang of it, but I always liked the idea and am greatly looking forward to this computer version. I do have two questions:

1. I've read about the decision to make the Pacific theater map the same scale as Europe--what is the scale, miles per hex?

2. Will it be possible to play just the Pacific War or just the European War, or will the Entire World War be the only option/scenario?

The scale is 100km/hex, which is about 60 miles/hex. Some of the threads on this forum have a lot of map screenshots, which should give you a good idea of the scale

2. Will it be possible to play just the Pacific War or just the European War, or will the Entire World War be the only option/scenario?

All scenarios will be available, including the "barbarossa" scenario and several that only take place on the european/pacific theathre.

100 km (~62 miles) per hex worldwide... and yes, there will be Pacific-only scenarios that abstract interactions with the western maps. On a side note, you should be aware that WiF has changed several times since its release, but always for the better. The Matrix project is based on WiFFE, which you can learn more about at ADG's site or the links you can find there.
