No Track IR?....That sucks...false Advertising!

Ok...I just got this game after seeing that it supported Track IR, cause I have Track IR, ya know...

Install the game, get all excited. Cockpit grafix are like from windows 93,....no wait....I saw better grafix when I was on the Plato system in 1979 playing "Dogfight" on one of the first "internet" computers.

Come on guys!....it's not even a 3d cockpit for god sakes!....I am for hire if you want a better 3d Track IR enhanced cockpit....geez

Too bad I can't return the game after opening it...AND to top it all off....No responses.

I have been all over the internet looking for similiar comments...and yes they are there...but no .....no responses....no nothing.....

Well, it might not be a big deal, since some sort of TIR support should already be in the game. It could be very simple to add full support for the latest versions, I just don't understand what's taking so long.

Have you tried the virtual cockpit? Shift-F1, as I recall, or it might be F4; my memory escapes me at the moment. Those are fully modeled in 3d, with different 'pits for each of the Alliance (good guy) fighters.

I also wonder where exactly you read that it had trackIR support; I was under the impression that it doesn't (not that I have trackIR), but I know that's a feature that's been lobbied for for ages.

It's shift+F1 in Starshatter 3.7.6 where only Stormhawk has virtual cockpit. It could be something else in 5.0 (Gathering Storm).
