Non-seige CTD

Post by Adam Parker »

I'm playing as the CSA. Using the Basic game with generals and fog of war on at Tutorial difficulty.

I don't know what I did.

I wasn't beseiging anything. I finished my turn, did nothing on any other screen that the main map. The Union was supposed to start its turn. The screen froze and a CTD. (Three turns prior to this map scrolling froze after right clicking a container. The Union took its turn and on the new CSA turn scrolling was back).

What file do I send, how do I send it and to whom?

The files are in the SAVE sub-folder. You would want to send the ones that are most recent, that is, just before the crash. So, you might want to set the folder so that its contents are listed by time/date. If there was an autosave that was made closer to the crash than the last time you manually saved you should send that (or both). As you'll see in that folder, each game or autosave is actually saved as two files, one a .sve and the other a .rep. So, you would need to send BOTH files, and please be sure to zip them.
