Boxed version with manual?

Post by Slick91 »

Just so I’m clear about this before I buy (ref FoF), will a printed manual be available now, or in the near future for War Plan Orange if I order the boxed version?

I’d like to take advantage of the Christmas sale now going on, but I’ll gladly wait longer, and pay more, if a printed manual is in the works.

I really doubt there will be a printed manual, and not in the near future either. What I did with other games is take the pdf into Office Max and have them print it. When I purchased TOAW it was only about $10 to have the manual printed. Sure, it is not a nice bound book, it is just hole punched in a binder, but it works [:)]

I know there has been discussions on the forums about having printed manuals but nothing I saw came to fruition.

Bottom line, I would recommend getting the game at the sale price and get the manual printed locally. Or have you checked this on the matrix site: Manual Options ? I have not tried it myself so I cannot speak to it beyond what is there....

Just ordered the game.  I printed out the WitP manual at home & it ate up alot of paper and drained the ink cartridges in my printer.  Do I really nead the WPO manual or does it pretty much play like and follow the rules of WitP?

If you familiar with WITP there is no much need of WPO manual. Just check sticked threads explaining the difference in TF composition in WPO.
