I have just bought the download and physical disk.  The problem I have is that the download window didn't work, just 'not responding' (according to 'task manager') Now it has closed how do i get back to it to retry download again.  I have never experienced this before with a download from matrix and i did give it 30 minutes...

Go to the support section, and check 'order status'. Enter your details (order number or the last few digits of credit card number), and it will let you download.

If that doesn't work, it might be a server problem.

RE: BOA map

Post by ragram »

Since you are making a new version, could you please change the Ohio and West Virginia maps? The Gallipolis and Marietta areas would be more logically positioned 1 area north of where the map shows them; that way they would be where the cities with those names are now. Some confusion may be the result you naming the Little Kanawha river in WV as the Kanawha river. Point Pleasant is where it should be- in WV at the mouth of the Kanawha, but Gallipolis should be opposite it. The Little Kanawha enters the Ohio River at Marietta,OH-Parkersburg,WV. Gallipolis on your map is across from what is now the city of Huntington, WV. Probably only a few of we Ohio-West Virginia people noticed or cared, but it is easily changed. Thanks.
I enjoy the game plenty.

Whoops, I made an error in my earlier post. The Kanawha River is shown correctly on the map, but the current city of Marietta is actually where the Muskingham runs into the Ohio River from the state of Ohio side. The Little Kanawha is not shown on the map, but runs into the Ohio River from WV at Parkersburg, which is essentially across from Marietta.
Since Gallipolis was founded in 1790 it may be some scenarios of BOA2, perhaps??
