creating new sounds and art work

Post by KahunaPete »

Hi all

I've been downloading several artwork and sound files for WITP and just love them in my game and also decided to create a few of my own.

I'd love to share but I also don't want to cause or create any problems regarding copyrights.

I will give all credit where due but I also don't want to upload anything before receiving permission from the respective authors.

I figure public domain is safe as it's free...mainly govt docs, images, and sounds.

I created a "Semper Fidelis" sound file for 1015.sfx (loading screen music) and edited it to fit it under 1 min but the soundtrack is from a CD that I purchased about 23 years ago.

Any thoughts on sound file sharing for private use?

Thanks
