sound stutters

Hello all. im brand new to starshatter, and it looks fantastic. However i havnt been able to play because the sound "stutters". I hear the music and voices repeat themselves 4or 5 times then it overlaps so that you really cant make out what they are saying. ive reinstalled 3 times always with the same results. Also the patch dosnt update because it says that the game is not installed correctly. I have a fairly good system and this is the only game ive had problems with. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Moxica, If you run your dxdiag in the background while playing Starshatter TGS this should resolve your problem. I know its just a temporary fix, but it solved my sound issue. I hope this works for you. Lets hope a future patch will address this issue.

As for the patch...did you download the "offical" one from Matrix or the one from the Starshatter.com website? The problem is easy to fix if it is the one Milo sent out.
