Purchased For Liberty! through Battlefront, how do I get the patch from Matrix?

Hi,

I originally purchased For Liberty! through the Battlefront website before it changed over to a Matrix Games product.

When I heard about the new patch, I downloaded it from Matrix since there was nothing about it on the Battlefront website, but the Matrix patch doesn't seem to recognize the License Code I got from Battlefront.

I e-mailed Battlefront back on Dec 25th and was promptly and courteously responded to and referred back to the developer for support, but haven't heard anything back since that time.

I do still have the e-mail that I got when I purchased the game online from Battlefront, so I have what you might call a "proof of purchase". Is Matrix honoring support requests for the old Battlefront customers, or am I a "tech support orphan" now that is solely dependent upon the original developer?

When Hussar Games joined us back in November, we announced this offer to give previous customer a free upgrade to the Matrix version:

Unfortunately, it expired on December 31st, 2006. Without the new Matrix version, you will in effect be an "orphan" as far as support goes. E-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with your battlefront.com order info and I'll see if there's anything I can still do for you.

Done. Thanks. I was out of the country much of the time (and stuck using a company laptop that I can't go to any fun websites with) when all this was going on, so I missed the news until the patch was announced after I got back home.

I appreciate anything you can do to help out.

Can I assume that the new patches will not load and update my game for me if I have the Battlefront Version?  I see the deadline expiration above and obviously I missed it.

I appear to have done the same thing, only realizing now that the game even switched, thanks to myy friend Venator, I am sending an e-mail, pardon for being rude.
