game will not load

just bought it and installed the patch. the screen comes up with the play button on it. when i hit the play button it makes the noise like world at war, but thats it. will not go any farther. any ideas?

I've seen you post about WaW. Have you played World at War on the same system? Since WaW and AWD are very similar, if one works the other should work fine. If that's the case, I suggest you reinstall the game and try again (first the basic game and then run it to make sure it is ok, then apply the patch and try again). If it still doesn't work, please post a DirectX Dialog report for your computer.

Maybe you have not cliked on the wright place?[:D]
When I clik on the play button- nothing happens, but when I click on the AWD name beside it, game starts...
