supply questions

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

supply questions

How do you increase your supply pool? Can you move unused production point to the supply pool?

Thanks for any help you can give..

During the production phase you need to produce supply units. Each supply unit built will translate into 5 supply points on the map.

The truck icon represents supply, there are two supply truck icons in the production screen, the one on the right builds 5 supply points, the one to the left uses ALL production capacity to build supply (you will get one of those "are you sure you want to spend all unused production to build supply" type prompts which you must answer "yes" or "no" to in order to proceed.....
best of luck and........................GO SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT!

Notes:
GE needs about 0 supply purchased (because they get it for free from axis-friendly neutrals in 1939 and 1940, perhaps 20 in 1941 and 30+ per turn after that
Japan needs:
1939 - 1940 - 15 per turn
1941 - 25 per turn (to get ready to repair the resources in the DEI)
1942 - 1944 - 35 per turn to run your CVs around and maintain the advance
1945 - do you still have production for supply? LOL

Russia - Varies widely, it depends how heavily you invest in spies/sigint or give to China
By 1943 you'll ned 35+ per turn

China- buy it whenever you can!

WA - 1939-1941, enough to keep 1 supply point everywhere you might get attacked (to avoid the"out of supply" combat penalty
plus whatever it takes to prosecute the anti-sub campaign

Good Luck!

Good detail Chris, but he probably isn't playing with advanced supply on.
