'Headlines from the Front' Scott1964 vs CarnageINC

Post by CarnageINC »

Howdy all,
Scott1964 and I are playing CHS v1.804
Extended version of AB map and scenario 157

Scott1964 - Japanese
CarnageINC - Aliied

Everything goes, 1 or 2 port strikes.
1 day turns
PDU ON
Auto-Sub OFF
Advanced Weather OFF
Reinforcements Variable
Sub Doctrine OFF
Allied damage control ON
Historic OFF
Vary Setup OFF
Surprise ON
Auto Upgrades OFF
Stacking - Airfield + 50?
Allies run standard 1st turn
No hunting allied carriers on turn 1.

We have decided to do a joint AAR. I've always wanted to do a front page type of AAR. I'm not much into cut and pasting combat reports. The allied side will mostly be in the form of front page reports in the major happenings for the day or week. My side will be more for those who like to follow the main scheme of things and not the horde of details in combat reports.
Of course I'm open to questions but won't dive to much into the strategy side of things since Scott1964 will be posting here also.

Hope you enjoy the thread. [;)]

Glad you guys like it, while I have time I can get creative but as soon as I'm back in school I might not be able to get these posted as quickly.

Question for other AAR posters, I noticed that your pictures are uploaded on to the forum server. This seems a better way of doing business, how do you guys do it?

looks great guys.

Kongo is a big hit for J this early!

Any chance of occasionally including strategic scale maps in the 'papers'? Helps to keep the big picture perspective.
